Frequently Asked Questions

1.      Where will the bike course take place in 2006?

a.      YES.  We must change the bike course due to the installation of speed bumps on the road in front of the Webster Aquatic Center.  The new course will be available soon.

2.      What is the maximum age?

a.      typically, it has been 15 years old, but we are currently checking if there are limitations based upon insurance coverage

3.      What if you are not a Webster resident?

a.      the event is open to all.  There is a slight surcharge for non-Webster people.

4.      Start time?

a.      the first age group starts at 9am.  Each age group follows after all of the previous group is done.  It takes ˝ hour to 1 hour per age group.

b.      All children and parents need to be at the Webster Aquatic Center for a meeting at 8:45am.

c.      All children and parents are encouraged to arrive by 8am.

5.      What is the Grand Splash?

a.      it is an all day event at the WAC on the day before the triathlon.

b.      It will feature an Open Pool, Speakers on Health and Fitness, a free bike check, packet pick-up, and course practice among other things.
